Gator Baseball Back on Track with 8-1 Win Over Tennessee
Published April 16th, 2012
It's been a while since the No. 4 Florida Gator baseball team delivered a series victory in conference play. The Gators finally rememebered what it felt like after Sunday's 8-1 victory over Tennessee. The rubber-game win captured the series, Florida's first since March 24th against South Carolina. Junior Brian Johnson set the tone early, delivering a bases-loaded one-out double to bring in three Florida runs, and kept the Volunteers scoreless through six solid innings on the mound.
