Gator Baseball Drops 5-4 Decision at Tennessee
Published April 15th, 2012
The No. 4 Florida Gator baseball team saw a back-and-forth affair go the way of the home team, as Tennessee squeaked out a 5-4 win on Saturday. Florida stranded plenty of runners, including a bases-loaded opportunity in the top of the ninth inning with only one out. Vickash Ramjit had a chance to bring home the tying run only 90 feet away, but grounded into a 5-3 double play to end the game and even the series at one game apiece. The rubber game to decide the series is slated for Sunday at 2pm in Knoxville.
