Gator Softball Beats Auburn 3-1, Lacrosse and Tennis Teams Also Victorious
The No. 3/4 Florida Gator softball team earned another SEC series victory with a 3-1 win over Auburn. Freshman pitcher Lauren Haeger matched a career-high 11 strikeouts to accompany a two-hit complete game, only allowing a solo home run in the final frame of the game.
The fifth-ranked Gator lacrosse team made it 10-straight victories with a 17-5 victory over No. 17 Vanderbilt in ALC play. Florida now faces a showdown with the top team in the land Northwestern next weekend in Chicago.
The No. 2 Gator women's tennis team captured sole possession of the SEC regular season crown with a 4-1 road victory over South Carolina.
The No. 10 Gator men's tennis team sent senior Nassim Slilam out a winner with a 6-1 victory over South Carolina in the regular season finale at Linder Stadium.
