Gator Softball Beats Ole Miss 9-1, Baseball Collapses Against LSU 8-7

The No. 4 Florida softball team scored early and often against Ole Miss, pelting the Rebel Bears with a six-run first inning en route to a 9-1 victory in five. The Gators look to sweep Ole Miss on Sunday at 1pm.
The top-ranked Gator baseball team continued to find ways to frustrate its fanbase. After blowing a golden opportunity in a Thursday night loss, Florida was trying to win the series against seventh-ranked LSU. The Gators led 7-2 after four innings, but the Tigers clawed back for six unanswered runs and took the series over Florida with an 8-7 win.
