Gator Softball Completes Sweep Over Auburn 5-2

The third/fourth ranked Florida softball team delivered its 18th victory in conference play, defeating the Auburn Tigers 5-2 for a weekend sweep from the team on the plains. Sami Fagan broke a scoreless tie in the bottom of the fifth inning with a two-out two RBI single to left field, and fellow freshman Lauren Haeger followed with a two-run blast for her ninth home run of the season. Hannah Rogers moved her record to 22-3 on the season, despite allowing two runs cross the plate in the top of the seventh inning.
