The Florida Gator football team had at least one player selected in the first round of the NFL Draft each year from 2007-2010, but the 2012 draft will likely watch the first round come and go without a Gator called for the second straight year. The most likely players to be taken at any point are running back Chris Rainey and defensive lineman Jaye Howard. Round 1 of the draft is Thursday, while the other rounds will continue over Friday and Saturday.
