In sports, nicknames come with the territory. Some are more deceptive than others. For Frank "Tripper" Carleton III, he's far from clumsy when he hits the tennis court. The Wake Forest transfer is playing his first year for the Florida Gators, currently a 19-9 singles record with manning the second and third lines. Teammate Spencer Newman knew Tripper back in teenage years, and said he still is unique in his own way. Tripper is the son of a former tennis pro, and has been called Tripper since he was born. He transferred to UF over other universities in hopes to push the Gators over the edge to win a national championship.
