No. 2 Florida and No. 4 South Carolina were in another do-or-die matchup, and unlike in last years's College World Series championship game, the Gators were the ones knocking out the Gamecocks from tournament play. In an elimination game in the SEC Tournament, Florida rode the strong left arm of Brian Johnson to a 7-2 victory over South Carolina. Johnson pitched his  first complete game of his career, going the distance and only allowing five hits and two earned runs. Florida will face Vanderbilt for the second time in the past three days with the winner advancing to the SEC Tournament championship game. The Gators and Commodores are set to start in Hoover, Alabama at 4:30 EST.
