The Florida Gator basketball team lacked a shot-blocking presence at the rim last season, so it jumped at the opportunity when South Carolina's best shot blocker was looking to transfer from Columbia. Former Gamecocks player Damontra Harris picked Florida over Kansas in a transfer to the men's basketball program, where he will have to sit out the 2012-13 sason unless he receives a waiver. The 6-foot-9, 226-pound player was the conference's second-best shot blcoker, averaging just over two blocks per game.
