Gator Softball Advances to SEC Tournament Championship with 2-1 Win Over Tennessee

Gator freshman Bailey Castro broke a 1-1 tie in the top of the eighth inning between Florida and Tennessee in the SEC Tournament semifinals. Castro connected on her sixth home run of the season to lift the Gators to a 2-1 victory. Florida advances to the SEC Tournament title game for the first time since 2009. Tim Walton collected his 500th win as a head coach, becoming the fastest active SEC coach to accomplish the feat.
