Gator Softball Players React to Decision on Former Teammates

The Gators struggled putting together runs all season, but Florida took a major blow when Tim Walton announced that Cheyenne Coyle, Kasey Fagan, and Sami Fagan were kicked off the team. The Gators certainly could've used their bats in a struggling offense that lost the first Gainesville Regional game 2-1 to Florida Gulf Coast, and the season-ender to South Florida 1-0 on Sunday. Current members on the team refused to use their former teammates as any excuse for not getting the job done, but shed some light on how it affected them.
