Published May 19th, 2012
Several local high school football teams wrapped up spring practice Friday night with a spring jamboree, and four of those teams were in one place. Oak Hall, St. Francis, Robert F. Munore, and Pope John Paul II all played four quarters of football each at Oak Hall. The Eagles picked up wins against both Munroe and Pope John Paul II, while the Wolves beat Munroe and tied Pope John Paul II. In Dunnellon, the host Tigers were beaten by the visiting Columbia County Tigers 33-7, and Hawthorne lost 14-6 on the road to Wildwood.
