Lafayette Beats Bell In North Central Florida Softball Showdown

The Lafayette High softball team took a shorter trip to the state final four than most: they only needed five innings to dismiss Bell to earn a state semifinal birth. The Hornets and Bulldogs were scoreless in the first two frames, but the Hornets came alive, scoring 11 runs in the final three innings to win 11-0 in Mayo on Tuesday night.
