The NCAA Women's Lacrosse semifinal still stings for the Florida Gator team, but the awards keep piling up for arguably the best team in women's college lacrosse. Goalie Mikey Meagher was named the SynapseSports.com's 2012 Goalie of the Year after posting 145 saves in front of the Gator goalcage, as well as only allowing 125 goals all season. She was also named a first team all-american by the publication. Teammates Brittany Dashiell and Sam Farrell joined her on the first team, while Kitty Cullen was named to the second team, and freshman Shannon Gilroy took third team honors.
