Ocala Stampede Fall 2-1 in First Home Game of Season

The Ocala Stampede played its first home game of the PDL season, but dropped the home opener to Ft. Lauderdale 2-1. The Stampede scored its lone goal in the 44th minute of a scoreless game just before half. Carlos Araujo Jr scored his seventh goal of the season on a pass from teammate Jo Dawkins in the box, putting Ocala up 1-0 at halftime. But Schulz Academy came back for two goals in the second half on their way to victory. The Stampede dropped to 3-2-1 on the season and will play its next home game at Trinity Catholic High School on Saturday night at 7pm.
