PK Yonge Girls Basketball Team Receives State Championship Rings
Published May 24th, 2012
Every player on the PK Yonge girls basketball team had been waiting patiently, and on Wednesday each received the hardware that went with their 58-43 victory over Parkway in the state title game. The Class 3A state champions received their championship rings in an end-of-the-year banquet featuring family, coaches, and teammates. It was an emotional night of reflecting on the Blue Wave's journey to their second title in the past three years, but everyone was happy with the end result and the ring they'll forever have to validate their accomplishment.
