Trenton Football Working Hard for A Repeat District Title
Published May 25th, 2012
The Trenton football team worked their way up atop the Class 1A rankings in the 2011 football season, and every Tiger victory gave more reason for the media and opponents to take notice. Trenton rattled off a perfect 10-0 regular season, making the playoffs for the first time since 2007, and won a playoff game in the Class 1A Regional Semifinals for the first time in over a decade. Tigers head coach Andrew Thomas believes his team has enough to repeat as district champions this fall, but it all starts in the offseason where the Tigers are using that same work ethic that made them so successful a year ago.
