Bradley Beal Selected Third Overall In NBA Draft
Published June 29th, 2012
Former Gator Bradley Beal admitted he was a little worried when his name wasn't called with the second pick in the NBA draft Thursday night. But any fears were quickly dispelled, as the Washington Wizards selected Beal third overall in the draft: a pick which puts Beal in exclusive company in Gators history. Beal becomes just the third Gator (Neal Walk, Al Horford) to be taken in one of the top three picks in the draft. Beal told WCJB TV20 Thursday night, he hopes he can show he's "one of the best to ever play," in the pros.
