In the top of the ninth inning, Georgia Tech held a 1-0 lead against the College of Charleston when Yellow Jacket freshman Connor Lynch stepped up to the plate and hit his first home run of his collegiate career, eliminating Charleston with the score of 3-0. The win earned Georgia Tech a rematch against the Florida Gators.
