Levine Follows Sweeting With 2nd Round Exit at Wimbledon
Published June 29th, 2012
While Jesse Levine's loss in the second round of the men's singles draw at Wimbledon was not the biggest shocker of the day, it was a disappointment for Gator Nation, which saw a second former Gator bow out of the tournament. Levine lost in four sets to David Goffin of Belgium, on the same day that saw two-time Wimbledon champion Rafael Nadal lose in five sets to Lukas Rosol (also in the second round) to hand the former world #1 his worst defeat at a grand slam since 2005.
