Emily Bastel has never been the head coach of a golf team before, but says she feels confident as she begins her tenure with the Florida Gator women's team. Bastel was an assistant last year under Jan Dowling, but with Dowling gone, the Michigan State alumnus takes over the reigns of a program that has placed in the top 12 the past two seasons.
