2nd Annual Junior Bassmaster Challenge
LAKE KERR - The Marion County Bassmasters hosted the 2nd annual Junior Bassmaster Challenge at Lake Kerr on Saturday.
The event nearly doubled last year's competition, with 44 kids (ages 6-17) fishing in three separate age categories (6-10, 11-14, 15-17) with a three-fish max weigh-in.
Young anglers were rated by overall weight (three-fish max) and weight of their biggest fish.
While some came away with trophies, everybody left a winner after enjoying a day in the outdoors with fishing, swimming, and a lot of fun.
