Erving Walker Signs Overseas
Published July 30th, 2012
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Former Gator point guard Erving Walker gave it his all in NBA Summer League action with the Phoenix Suns, and that experience helped him latch on with a professional team overseas.
Walker, Florida's all-time assists leader, signed a contract with the Prima Veroli, an Italian basketball team.
Walker marks the second Gator to sign with a club from Italy, following former Florida forward Alex Tyus.
