The Florida Gator volleyball team will try and make a deeper run than last season's Elite Eight appearance, as the Orange and Blue released the 2012 schedule on Thursday. Florida will host two home regular-season tournaments, as well as participate in their third-straight NIKE Volleyball Big Four Classic against Texas and Stanford in State College, PA. In all, the Gators will host 17 regular-season home matches, including home battles against some Meyers. Former Buchholz Bobcat standouts Gigi Meyer and Nikki Meyer make their return to Gainesville, with Gigi's Florida Gulf Coast Eagles facing UF on August 25th, and Nikki's Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets taking on the Gators on September 8th. As well, Florida will face newfound SEC members Texas A&M on the road, and Missouri in a home-and-away series.
