GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Will Muschamp is doing his best to stack the deck against future football opponents by assembling one of the top recruiting classes in the country.
Tampa Hillsborough defensive end and four-star recruit Jordan Sherit was the 20th verbal commitment to the Florida Gators, joining close friend and recent DB commit Vernon Hargreaves III.
Sherit is 6-foot-5, 234 pounds, and was in attendance but did not participate in the 8th annual "Friday Night Lights" football camp.
According to ESPN, recent commitments from five-star Hargreaves and four-star players Riles and Sherit have moved the Gators from 10th to 3rd overall in class rankings.
Of Florida's 20 verbal commits, 19 of them are ranked by ESPN with four stars or higher.
