Countdown to Kickoff: Arkansas
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Arkansas Razorbacks were the fifth-best team in college football last year, but only the third-best in their own division.
The Razorbacks finished 11-2, but lost both SEC West games to LSU and eventual national champs Alabama.
This season, despite turmoil with a head coaching change, Arkansas will rely on a high-powered offense led by returning senior quarterback Tyler Wilson.
He'll get Heisman hopeful running back Knile Davis back this season, who missed all of last year due to injury.
The question remains on the defensive side of the football, where the Hogs will revamp the unit under new defensive coordinator Paul Haynes.
But Arkansas knows to be competitive, they'll have to return to an offensive force that led the SEC in passing offense, total offense, and points scored in 2011.
