Tebow Picture In GQ Draws Criticism
Published August 17th, 2012
Gainesville- A picture of Tim Tebow in this month's issue of GQ magazine depicts the New York Jets quarterback, who is vocal about his religious beliefs, in a Jesus Christ-like pose, but Tebow denies this was his intention.
Tebow said it was "absolutely not" meant to resemble Christ on the cross, and called the appearance of the images-taken 6 years ago at Ben Hill Griffin Stadium "a shocker."
Tebow was not interviewed for the GQ article, which previews this year's NFL season.
