Gators Cross Country Teams Own Top Spots at Mountain Dew Invitational

GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Florida men's and women's cross country teams dominated the 24th Annual Mountain Dew Invitational, earning first place in team scores.
On the men's side, Gator junior Mark Parrish was the second collegiate male to finish the 8k (24:29.34), closely followed by teammate Josh Izewski.
For the female 5k, it was a Gator sweep for the top five spots led by junior Agata Strasua (17:13.32).
At the high school level, the Buchholz boys varsity team finished 10th in team scores (369).
Oak Hall girl's varsity team placed second in team scores (102), only behind St. Thomas Aquinas (55) for the top overall spot.
