Gators Wide Receivers Taking Advantage Of Opportunities
Published September 21st, 2012
GAINESVILLE- The Florida Gator football team isn't passing the ball a whole lot, but when they do, they've been one of the most efficient in the SEC.
Florida ranks 13th out of 14 in passing yards per game (176.3 ypg), but they are also the 3rd most efficient team in the league.
It's a model also used by Alabama (10th in yards, 1st in efficiency, respectively) to control the field with the run, take few chances with the pass, but convert those chances.
So far, it appears the model is working.
