GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Chris Price and Angelo Caruso recap week three of high school football around North Central Florida.

Gainesville High traveled to their first road contest of the season against Trinity Catholic.

The No. 1 team in Class 6A was tested early after the Celtics grabbed a two-touchdown lead in the second quarter.

But once the Purple Hurricanes overcame their own mistakes (three 1st half turnovers, 18 total penalties for 191 yards), they rolled to victory in the second half, outscoring Trinity Catholic 35-7 in the final 24 minutes.
