District Volleyball Championships Across North Central Florida

GAINESVILLE- The volleyball district championship tournaments were in full swing Tuesday across North Central Florida.
In District 7-1A, the Newberry Panthers took on Chiefland and won 25-12, 25-16 and 25-17, and will now face Union County in the district championship on Thursday.
Meanwhile, in Gainesville, Lake Weir took on South Lake and won their District 5-6A quarterfinal.
The Hurricanes will now face top-seeded Vanguard in the semifinal on Wednesday.
