Vanguard, Cornerstone, Oak Hall Among Thursday Night's Volleyball Winners

GAINESVILLE- The Vanguard Knights rallied from down two-sets-to-one to beat Gainesville High Thursday night, with the win most likely preserving the Knights #1 state ranking in class 6A.
The Knights won 25-17, 21-25, 23-25, 25-17, 15-6, and now have two wins over the Purple Hurricanes this season.
Meanwhile, Cornerstone beat First Academy in straight sets and Oak Hall also swept Union County in some of the other local action.
