Grinding Schedule Paying Dividends for Florida in BCS Standings
Published November 19th, 2012
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - The Florida Gators are only one win and an upset loss away from making an improbable trip to their third BCS National Championship game.
Florida is ranked fourth in the overall poll, including a favorable No. 2 position from the computers, who value the gauntlet schedule the Gators played this season.
Florida will need to beat 10th ranked Florida State in Tallahassee on Saturday and have No. 1 Notre Dame fall on the road at Southern California.
If all falls into place, the Gators could be poised to play for the program's fourth national championship on January 7th in Miami, FL.
