Muschamp to Saban: "Don't Like Losing SEC Title Game? I'll Trade Ya."
GAINESVILLE- This weekend, Alabama will play Georgia for the SEC football championship, while Florida will watch.
But thanks to the BCS Bowl system, the 4th-ranked Gators will likely leap either #2 Alabama or #3 Georgia when either team loses Saturday in Atlanta, essentially guaranteeing the Gators a spot in the Sugar Bowl on January 2 instead of the Crimson Tide or the Bulldogs.
Monday morning, Crimson Tide head coach Nick Saban said that doesn't seem fair, that the winner of a division would fall behind a team that didn't win the division, but Gators head coach Will Muschamp disagrees.
In fact, Muschamp says he would trade places with Saban for the chance to play his way into the BCS Championship Game.
"Be careful what you ask for Nick," said Muschamp.
