GAINESVILLE- Carly Needles wasn't afraid to fire away from 3-point land for the Florida Gator women's basketball team Monday night, and her tenacity paid off with a Gator record nine 3-pointers in Florida's 74-44 win over North Florida. 

Needles had 27 points on the night to lead all scorers.
