Out, But Not Down: Reagan Davey's Season-In-Wait
Published November 23rd, 2012
OCALA- The phrase "wait until next year," shoudn't apply to someone who's team just won a high school state championship, but that's exactly the feeling for Vanguard volleyball player Reagan Davey.
Davey transferred to Vanguard from The Villages for academic reasons, and to play volleyball for the Knights.
But since her coach Jason Morris is also her club volleyball coach, Davey was forced to sit out the 2012 season, watching from the sidelines as the Knights won the Class 6A state title last week.
TV20's Zach Aldridge tells us how Reagan still remained a part of the team, even when she couldn't compete for the Knights this year.
