Regional Quarterfinals Continue In High School Volleyball

GAINESVILLE- High school volleyball state playoffs continued around North Central Florida Wednesday night, and while teams from Class 2A fared well, teams from Class 5A did not.
Eastside, Belleview and Suwannee all lost in the opening round of the state playoffs to watch their seasons come to an end.
However, St. Francis and PK Yonge both won in Class 2A, setting up a rematch of district rivals on Tuesday night at St. Francis.
Also, Buchholz won its opener in class 7A with former Jeffrey Meldon TV20 Scholar Athlete Caroline Redmond leading the way with 13 kills on the night.
