Ten Plays In Ten Days: Number 2
Published December 27th, 2012
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Our penultimate play in our Top Ten countdown goes to the fumble heard 'round the Gator Nation.
In a tight contest against LSU, Florida led by a single point in the third quarter when Tigers quarterback Zach Mettenberger avoided a sack and connected on a 56-yard pass to Odell Beckham.
But moments later, Beckham was stripped of the ball by Matt Elam and the Gators recovered.
Replay confirmed the ruling, and Florida took the momentum right back and eventually beat LSU 14-6.
