Brissett, Johnson to Transfer from UF
Published January 7th, 2013
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - Jacoby Brissett was a patient man, but patience can only take you so far.
After falling into a backup quarterback role to Gators starter Jeff Driskel this past season, Brissett decided to transfer from the program and look for other opportunities to play college football.
Former Trinity Catholic standout and Gator running back Chris Johnson will also transfer from the program.
Johnson never found a true position as a Gator, but excelled in special teams with 19 total tackles in his two seasons.
