GAINESVILLE- Despite the 2012 season ending with a bitter loss, the Gator football team still finished well ahead of the expected pre-season record. 

At one point, Will Muschamps teams held a number 2 spot in the BCS poll. 

A loss to Louisville in the Sugar Bowl did hurt their ranking spot, but Florida did manage to finish in the top 10. 

After coming off of a 7-6 record in 2011, Gator "F" back Trey Burton, says the 2012 season showed a lot of good in the squad.
