GAINESVILLE, Fla. - It looked like Florida gymnastics picked up right where it left off after last year's NCAA Championships.
The defending 2012 national runners-up and third-ranked team in the country opened up 2013 against Ball State, 196.575 to 190.55.
Senior Ashanee Dickerson won the All-Around (38.9) while three other Gators earned individual event honors.
Sophomore and reigning NCAA all-around champion Kytra Hunter claimed the uneven bars and floor exercise with identical 9.9 scores.
Mackenzie Caquatto earned the balance beam title at 9.875.
Freshman Bridget Sloan was the lone newcomer to compete on the evening and made the most of it.
Sloan shared the Vault event title with Dickerson, as the two received identical 9.925 scores.
