GAINESVILLE- It was a night for hoops around North Central Florida. 

Lake Weir travled to Gainesville, for a battle of hurricanes. The purple hurricanes pulled out the win over the Lake Weir Hurricanes 84-52.

At Saint Francis, it was senior night for the Wolves, who faced Crescent City and won 66-36.

The girls of Saint Francis, also having senior night, fell to the Bell Bulldogs 38-25.

In soccer, it was the quarter finals for the district 5, 2A boys. 

Ft. White beat Interlachen 2-1. 

PK Yonge dominated Newberry 7-1.
