GAINESVILLE/OCALA- In boys high school basketball, a battle of Cats led to an overtime contest at Buchholz. 

Although the host Bobcats led for most of the game, the visiting Forest Wildcats chipped away at the lead, and finally got the win in OT, beating Buchholz 61-59. 

Meanwhile in girls high school soccer, the Regional Quarterfinals took place Wednesday night, with Trinity Catholic beating Santa Fe 8-0, Eastside falling 3-0 to Citrus, Keystone Heights getting a double-overtime win 3-2 over Crystal River. The Indians will meet the Celtics Saturday night in the regional semifinal 7pm at Celtic Stadium.
