GAINESVILLE- The Gainesville High boys basketball team scored another win over city-rial Buchholz Thursday night 76-59. 

The win gives the Purple Hurricanes a season-sweep of the Bobcats and puts the 'Canes record at 11-7 on the year, while Buchholz falls to 7-10. 

Around the area, Palatka got a win over Eastside, Union County beat Newberry, and in girls' soccer, St. Francis picked up a 1-0 win over Newberry on the Panthers' senior night.
