Gator Gymnastics Wins A Close One
Published February 23rd, 2013
GAINESVILLE- The #1 Gator Gymnastics team stayed on top for another week, with a win over Kentucky Friday night.
It was only the second time this season that Florida scored below a 197.
Head Coach Rhonda Fahen used the night to test some younger gymnast, and put out a brand new lineup, including no one in the All-Around.
After starting off strong on the vault, and the uneven bars, the Gators fumbled on the beam. They came back though with a solid performance on floor.
The final, Florida beats Kentucky 196.975 to 196.075.
