GAINESVILLE- The girls Buchholz basketball team won their state semi-final game on Friday. Leaning on the incredible play of Jessica Thomas, the Bobcats beat Freedom 79-73.
They will play in the state final on Saturday in Lakeland.
In softball, the Newberry Panthers visited the Gainesville Purple Hurricanes tonight.
After getting a run in the first inning, the Canes just took off. They beat the Panthers 10-0.
