GAINESVILLE- Both Union County and Hawthorne traveled to Lakeland today to compete in the State Semi-Finals basketball tournament. Win, and they would play each other on Wednesday. 

Unfortunetly for the North Central Florida schools, both fell. 

Union Co. lost to West Gadsden 76-51 while Hawthorne came up short against Holmes County in a close one 51-48.
