GAINESVILLE- Zack Powers made Florida baseball history on Sunday, and it didn't escape the national media.
Powers was named Louisville Slugger National Player of the Week Monday following his 2 grand slam performance against Duke on Sunday afternoon.
Powers' 2 grand slams tie him with Preston Tucker as the only players to accomplish the feat in Gators history.
The Gators picked up their first series win of the season, taking 2 of 3 from the Blue Devils last weekend.
