Gatornationals Coverage- Antron Brown Arrives In Gainesville As Reigning Top Fuel Champ
Published March 15th, 2013
Gainesville- With fellow drivers like Tony Schumacher and Jack Beckman, it's tough for top fuel driver Antron Bron to be the fastest driver on his team, let alone in the world.
But last year Brown reached the top of the mountain, becoming the first African-American champion in Top Fuel, in the NHRA, and in US Autosports history to win a major US auto racing title.
Weekend Sports Anchor Zach Aldridge visted with Brown on Thursday, the day before top fuel qualifying begins and on a week when Brown hopes to add his first Gatornationals win to his first World Championship last year.
