Gator Soccer Releases 2014 Schedule
GAINESVILLE, Fla. - In the 20th season for the University of Florida program, the Gators' schedule sees the team playing in four different time zones and facing seven teams which advanced to last season's NCAA Championship field.
Two Places to Call Home
During the course of the Gators' seven home-match schedule, the team will play at two venues - James G. Pressly Stadium<http://www.gatorzone.com/facilities/?venue=percy&sport=socce> and Donald R. Dizney Stadium<http://www.gatorzone.com/facilities/?venue=lacrosse&sport=lacro>.
Both of Florida's regular-season home matches set for Sundays will be played at Dizney Stadium - Aug. 24 versus South Florida and Sept. 28 versus Missouri.
Playing at Dizney Stadium during the regular season gives Florida venue options if the Gators are fortunate to be in position to host post-season action. A team needs to play at least two matches at a venue to have that site eligible for post-season play.

The final match of the regular season brings Florida back to Gainesville to face Vanderbilt on Oct. 30.
The 2014 SEC Tournament, set for Nov. 3-9, makes its eighth consecutive appearance in Orange Beach, Alabama. The NCAA Championships' 64-team field will be announced on Nov. 10.
Becky Burleigh says:
"This will be a challenging schedule, which is exactly what we want. We will meet some to the top teams from different conferences as we prepare for the SEC season.
